Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell

Brilliant and entertaining, “Outliers” is a landmark work that will simultaneously delight and illuminate.

In this captivating new book, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual voyage through the realm of “outliers” – the exceptional individuals who stand out as the best, the brightest, the most renowned, and the most accomplished. He poses the question: what sets high-achievers apart?

Gladwell’s response is that we often focus too heavily on the personal attributes of successful people, while neglecting to consider their background: their culture, their family, their era, and the unique experiences they encountered while growing up. Along the way, he unveils the mysteries behind software billionaires, the qualities necessary for becoming an exceptional soccer player, the reasons behind Asians’ proficiency in mathematics, and the factors that propelled the Beatles to become the greatest rock band.
