Lady Susan by Jane Austen
Lady Susan is an epistolary novel, in which a series of letters from the protagonist are compiled. A beautiful widow who seeks to restore her status as a married woman but with a prospect that is up to her wishes. And at the same time, she also seeks to marry her young daughter.
The story goes on and, as readers, we realize that Lady Susan does not present herself to us as the admirable protagonists that Austen has accustomed us to. Since Lady Susan maintains a relationship with a married man and finally places her in an antiheroine position. However, the final outcome may seem a little kinder than expected.
